About the Event
The 70th Geneva International Motor Show, held in Geneva March 2-12.
Perhaps the most momentous unveiling was that of the first new Morgan in about a half-century, the Aero 8. Billed as the world's first all-aluminum coach-built car, this open 160-mph two-seater is based on the factory's GT2 racecar, and powered by a 282-horsepower BMW 4.4-liter V-8.
Nestled down below the main show floor was this stylish concept wearing the storied Hispano-Suiza name. The HS21 was built by the Spanish firm Mazel Car Engineering and Prototypes as a showcase of its capabilities, and with the faint hope of interesting the owners of the Hispano-Suiza name in using this car to stage a comeback.
