The 53rd Salon de l'Auto - under the motto of 'cost efficient'
On 1st March 1983 the Austin Maestro was officially launched with the tagline 'The Miracle Maestro'. The following week it was displayed at the Geneva Motor Show.
Presented at Geneva Motor Show in 1983, the Renault Gabbiano marks the beginning of the cooperation of Italdesign with Règie Renault, that will take to the production, in 1986, of the Renault 21.
The Bertone Delfino was unveiled at the 1983 Geneva Motor Show, showcasing the manufacturer's belief in the niche market of elegant-sporty coupés. This vehicle was a testament to Bertone's long-standing tradition of collaborating with Alfa Romeo.
The Geneva Motor Show saw the world debut of the smallest four-wheeled passenger car ever to bear the Ford badge - the Ghia Trio. This unique microcar, measuring just 2,408 mm in length, was designed to seat two passengers in addition to the driver.
