About the Event

Despite Europe's economic slump 30 years ago, mainstream and exotic automakers wowed at the 1993 Geneva motor show.

Ferrari showed the 348 Spider, Lamborghini revealed its Diablo VT and Aston Martin stole the show with the DB7.

Mainstream debuts included the Ford Mondeo, the company's $6 billion world car project, and big sellers such as the Citroen Xantia and Peugeot 306.
