Geneva International Motor Show 2005

Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland
Dates
3rd to 13th of March 2005
About the Event
Geneva celebrates two important anniversaries this year: the centenary of its first national exhibition, as well as the 75th anniversary of its first international show. But, regardless of how many events there have been before, each year we look forward to the Geneva Motor Show for both its wide array of radical concepts as well as its broad selection of international premieres.
This year, as part of its celebration, Geneva is branching out to include more than just cars in its exhibition: A 300-page lavishly illustrated book, two commemorative gold and silver coins, and two special stamps from the Swiss Post Office will also be available as collectible souvenirs from this year's event. So, show visitors who can't afford that $560,000 Saleen S7 can still take home another, more affordable, memento.
In order to give visitors the opportunity to follow the last 100 years of motoring progress, the cars themselves will be presented in the settings of their day, as each exhibitor has been invited to devote part of their stands to a presentation of their history, image, and future ambitions.
