About the Event

The 29th annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance took place on August 19, 1979, at The Lodge at Pebble Beach in California. The 1931 Chrysler CG Imperial LeBaron Dual Cowl Phaeton, shown by Mr. & Mrs. Gerry Jensen, won the Best of Show award at the 1979 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. This marked the first time a Chrysler product claimed the event's highest honor.
