The 1955 Best of Show winner at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance was a 1931 Pierce-Arrow 41 LeBaron Town Car Cabriolet, owned and restored by sports car racing icon Phil Hill. This marked the first overall win for a prewar car and was a preview of the future.
