About the Event

At the 1965 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, heavy rain forced organizers to move the vehicles from the soggy lawn to the old road race start/finish line near the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center. The prestigious Best of Show award was won by a 1927 Bentley 4½ Litre Vanden Plas Tourer, owned by Christopher F. Coburn.
