At the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 1958, J.B. Nethercutt won Best of Show with his pristine 1930 duPont Model G Merrimac Town Car. This year also marked a major milestone for the event when Rolls-Royce became the first automotive brand to receive its own dedicated, ongoing class.
