About the Event

The Best of Show winner at the 1922 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 1972 was a 1922 Hispano-Suiza H6B Labourdette Skiff/Torpedo, owned and meticulously restored by Jules M. Heumann.

That same year, Heumann and Lorin Tryon had agreed to jointly take on the task of overseeing the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance as its Co-Chairmen. Since 1972, Pebble Beach has presented a trophy in Gwenn Graham’s honor for Most Elegant Convertible.
