It was a feast for the senses: On April 26 and 27, 2003, the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2003 was an attraction for lovers of automotive dreams from the classic car era. This most traditional beauty contest for classic vehicles still in existence took place for the fifth time under the patronage of the BMW Group. Record participation with 51 automobiles from the decades 1920 to 1970 and 13 concept cars and prototypes. Several thousand visitors enjoyed this globally unique presentation of dream cars in the best weather conditions.
