Crashed and rolled twice.
The original body was replaced in 1957 with a Devin fibreglass version.
The car was disassembled by the previous owner's nephew as he was frustrated with not being allowed to take it out for joyrides at his leisure.
The original cylinder head was replaced with a larger XK140 head and put on an engine designed for a powerboat. The original was later purchased and reunited with the car but not fitted.
Awarded the FIA Heritage Certificate.
