About the Event
The 2021 edition of the Festival of Speed was the first to take place after the previous year's cancellation due to Covid-19. It was classed as a pilot event for the Events Research Programme.
The theme was 'The Maestros Motorsports Great All-Rounders' and featured Lotus on the Central Feature.
In the Timed Shootout, Rob Bell managed to claim first in the McLaren 720S GT3X with a time of 45.01 seconds. The top three were completed by Travis Pastrana in his Subaru WRX STi (46.20 seconds) and Jeremy Smith in the Spice SE88 (47.16 seconds).
