About the Event
The 39th edition of Rétromobile, for the first time since its creation, took place in Hall 1 of the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center and occupied 41,000 square meters of exhibition space.
The show commemorated the 100th anniversary of World War I with a dynamic display of the M47 Patton tank and a static exhibit of the 1916 Renault FT.
The 2014 event highlighted Maharaja cars, as well as an exhibition dedicated to Lancia featuring 14 models, including a 1924 Lambda Torpedo and a 1952 Aurelia B20.
This edition also marked the 35th anniversary of the Paris-Dakar Rally, featuring, among others, Ari Vatanen’s Peugeot 205 Turbo Grand Raid.
The show set a new record with 90,000 visitors.
