About the Event
The 2024 edition of the Tour Auto took place from April 21 to 27, offering enthusiasts an approximately 2,000 km route across France, from Paris to Biarritz.
Itinerary and key stages:
- April 21 and 22: Vehicles were on display at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, followed by technical and administrative checks.
- April 23: The official start took place early in the morning, leaving Paris for an initial showcase at the Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry. The first stage then led to Tours, including a special stage at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit.
- April 24: The route headed toward Limoges, with a special stage at the Val de Vienne circuit.
- April 25: The rally crossed the southwest region, reaching Carcassonne, offering a mix of picturesque landscapes and winding country roads.
- April 26: Participants passed through the Nogaro circuit (Circuit Paul Armagnac), then headed toward Pau.
- April 27: The rally finished in Biarritz, after a final circuit stage at Pau-Arnos and crossing the beautiful roads of the Basque Country.
This edition highlighted iconic models such as the BMW 3.0 CSL and racing prototypes from the 1950s to the 1970s, celebrating their racing heritage.
Spectators were able to watch events on circuits open to the public, such as Le Mans, Val de Vienne, Nogaro, and Pau-Arnos, as well as enjoy the closed parks accessible with the official program.
