About the Event

The 2017 Adelaide Motorsport Festival, held from December 7 to 10, showcased a diverse array of historic, classic, and modern vehicles across multiple events. The Victoria Park Sprint, a highlight of the festival, took place on December 9 and 10, featuring 210 cars competing on a 1.6 km circuit within the former Australian Grand Prix track in Victoria Park. 

In addition to the sprint, the festival included the Adelaide Rally, which attracted 272 participants, and a static display featuring approximately 300 vehicles. The event drew over 35,000 attendees across all activities, underscoring its growing popularity. 

The festival's success was further highlighted by the 'Peak Hour of Power' parade on Gouger Street, held on Friday, November 30, 2017, which added to the festive atmosphere leading up to the main events. 

Overall, the 2017 Adelaide Motorsport Festival celebrated the rich motorsport heritage of Adelaide, offering enthusiasts and the public a dynamic blend of on-track action and off-track entertainment.
