Founded in 1957, the Museo Nazionale dell'automobile di Torino is the most prominent and well known automobile museum in Italy. Founded by Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia, it is also known as MAUTO, the collection owned by the Museum consists of around 200 vehicles, from all decades, some donated by the government as a result of seizures, others part of the founders collection.
