Dr. Adel Quttainah is the leading cosmetic and reconstructive microsurgeon in the Middle East. He is one of the few consultant aesthetic microsurgeon who performs free tissue transfer with perforator flaps in the entire Arabian Gulf. Before finally settling his practice in Kuwait, Dr. Quttainah explored different parts of the world to progress in his profession.

Dr. Adel Quttainah received his initial medical training at the National University of Ireland, the University College Cork. After that, Dr. Quttainah pursued his five-year residency program in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. Later on, Dr. Adel Quttainah joined the University of Toronto for his post-graduation studies. He went into a microsurgery fellowship, mostly dealing with breast reconstruction surgeries using free tissue transfer and perforator flaps, as well as free muscle transfer for facial reanimation. The procedure is commonly done for people who have post-facial paralysis. Dr. Adel Quttainnah further completed an aesthetic fellowship with the esteemed Dr. Lloyd Carlsen, an expert in Woodbridge, Ontario. He also pursued a clinical research fellowship with Dr. James Bain at the Hamilton General Hospital in Ontario.

After learning various techniques in practice, Dr. Adel Quttainah flew back to the Middle East in 2003 and became the head of the Plastic Surgery Department at Saad Specialist Hospital in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. It didn't take long before the market. The medical industry in the area took notice of his professionalism and unparalleled skills.

Following his success in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Adel Quttainah transferred to Kuwait to launch one of the first private aesthetic surgery clinics called Cosmetic Surgery Clinic. The brand is unique in a way that it introduced various services and procedures, all under one roof. Dr. Quttainah employed a unique business model that has proved to be extremely successful because of the convenience they give to patients. It is now being replicated by other clinics in the Middle East and some from other parts of the world.

Seeing the patronage of patients for the Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, Dr. Adel Quttainah opened several other clinics. In 2016, the expert established one of his most successful ventures yet, taking his services and expertise on a bigger scale. Dr. Quttainah uses his 20 years of experience working in the industry to found Quttainah Medical Center (QMC), one of the largest aesthetic surgery institutions in the Arabian Gulf.
