About the Event

Over 100 cars turned up to the event representing both ends of the supercar scale.

Rarities included two of three Ford GT 720 Mirage’s in existence. A joint venture between Roush, responsible for much of the Ford GT’s fine-tuning, and Avro Motor Cars created this 720bhp beast. It features a larger Whipple supercharger, a new induction system comprising Accufab throttle bodies, and an Accufab ceramic-coated exhaust. Alongside this sat an RUF CTR3, a car that needs no introduction, and Catman XJ13R replica of the one off Jaguar XJ13.

Both Porsche 959 and Ferrari F40 were present as was an Ascari Ecosse, a Mercedes CLK DTM AMG, a Ferrari Enzo, a Mercedes-McLaren SLR Roadster. For those who prefer rareties to the normal raft of exotics, two TVR Typhons, believed to be the only two in existence, were in attendance; the Typhoon being the car that TVR would have produced but for their liquidation. A Hawk Stratos was also present alongside an Audi Quattro SWB, a different example to the one driven by Drive’s Chris Harris recently.
