The Historic Touring Car Association of Victoria (HTCAV) fielded a particularly strong presence, with 75 entrants across the Under 2 Litre and Over 2 Litre grids. In the Under 2 Litre class, Alfa Romeos driven by Adriano Dimauro and Spencer Rice were consistently at the front, with one race ending in a dramatic finish where Dimauro edged out Rice by just 0.03 seconds. In the Over 2 Litre division, drivers like Aldo De Paoli in a Chevrolet Camaro and Michael Miceli in a Ford Mustang battled for supremacy, with races often decided by fractions of a second. A standout feature of the weekend was a commemorative race for the Peter Brock Trophy, honouring the 50th anniversary of Brock’s Bathurst win.
