Information
The last of the RML-built Vauxhall Cavaliers, built as a replacement for chassis 11-028, which had been written off after being crashed at Knockhill. Used as a test car by John Cleland and Mike Briggs in the latter half of the season, eventually making its race debut at the 1995 FIA Touring Car World Cup, where it was driven by Anthony Reid under the Opel Team Japan banner
Run by Mint Motorsport in the British Touring Car Championship for Richard Kaye in 1996 and Jamie Wall in 1997, and for Tim Sugden in the end-of-season RAC Tourist Trophy
Purchased by Nigel Bowen and raced in various Formula Saloons and Welsh Saloon/Sportscar races until 2004, when it was put into storage.
After many years of inactivity, the car was sold in mid-2009 to the current owner, and following a bare shell restoration has appeared at historic touring car series in the FujiFilm Livery
