Information
Built by RML / Ecurie Ecosse in 1993 and used by David Leslie to win the Thruxton round of the British Touring Car Championship and the end-of-season TOCA Shootout.
Brought by Nigel Smith and run in the 1994 British Touring Car Championship in HMSO livery
Was extensively upgraded with 1994-spec suspension and many 1995-spec parts, and again run in the BTCC. The old suspension parts were later re-used in Joe Wagner's Spa 24hrs car
The car then spent a period in Denmark in the hands of Alf Magne Sorensen
In 2008, the car was acquired by a Norwegian buyer, having been stored outside for some time. Over the next few years, the car was stripped and rebuilt, and painted in later 1995 BTCC livery.
Returned to the UK in 2014. Rebuilt back to the 1993 Ecurie Ecosse livery, it returned to the track for the GRRC 74th Members Meeting at Goodwood in March 2016
