Information
Delivered new in 1972 by Porsche KG's competition department, this Porsche 911 S-R was entered in European competitions from the outset, notably in Germany and Switzerland. Initially driven by Peter Zbinden, it distinguished itself with a series of podium finishes, securing first place in the Swiss Championship (Schweizer Meisterschaft) in 1972.
In 1973, driven by Harry Blumer, the car continued its racing career and finished second in the Swiss Championship, confirming its competitiveness in its class.
In 1974, it was modified to the 3.0L RSR specification, marking a major evolution from its original configuration. It notably won the SAR race at Hockenheim in March 1974.
A complete restoration was carried out between 2010 and 2011, ensuring the preservation of this iconic Porsche racing car.
