Information
The Porsche 911 230 0870 was delivered new to Günther Steckkönig for Strähle KG, before embarking on a remarkable journey in the history of German privateer motorsport. It then passed into the hands of Erich Schiebler on June 23, 1974, and then Franz Gschwender on July 14, 1975.
Before its acquisition by Herbert Adamczyk for German Motors Racing on October 2, 1977, the registration documents were separated from the vehicle, thus severing the administrative link with the chassis. During its racing career, the original chassis was eventually destroyed.
The car's registration documents remained in Germany before being transferred to England, where they were used in the construction of a replica. Bearing witness to a unique journey combining competition, ownership transfers and reconstruction, this 911 now occupies a special place in the history of privately owned racing cars.
Modifications
The registration papers for the 911 230 0870 were separated from the vehicle before it went to German Motors Racing. They remained in Germany and were later transferred to England. The documents were used to create a faithful replica. The original chassis was completely destroyed, but the official identity was preserved thanks to the paperwork.
