Information
This unique Porsche 911 was built by Porsche especially for Michael Keyser. It first played a key role as a reconnaissance car during the legendary 1972 Targa Florio, a race renowned for its winding and demanding roads in Sicily. It was later used as a camera car, filming the performances of its sister car, 911 230 0538, on the race course.
In the 2000s, this 911 was restored, but the restoration applied the wrong livery—that of its sister car, 911 230 0538—instead of its original all-yellow color. This chassis perfectly illustrates the connection between technical innovation, historic competition, and the living history of Porsche 911 racing cars.
