Information
Upgraded to C3B in 1990, which was the infamous Subaru F1. In 1990, Subaru purchased 51% of Coloni to race in F1 and compete against Honda. The C3 was modified with Subaru flat 12 cylinder engine, different bodywork and white livery. But the Subaru engine turned out to be a total disaster, it was heavy, weak and unstable. C3B failed to pre-qualify in all 8 races it took part in. Before the season ended, Coloni parted with Subaru after French GP, and returned to Ford-Corsworth at Hockenheim. The C3B was Subaru's only attempt in Formula 1.
Restored to 1989 original C3 spec as currently runs in events and classic races, reasonably because the original Subaru engine was too unstable for private owners.
