Information
This 1900 SSZ was ordered by Vittorio Vanini, a Swiss-Italian chocolatier in 1955 from Lugano. The greatest achievement of this chassis was finishing 19th overall out of 534 at the 1955 Mille Miglia! This was the first Alfa Romeo to see the checkered flag at the race.
After that, in 1956, it found a new owner in the West Coast, where it resided for over 50 years.
It was only in 2015 when its current owner managed to buy it through Kidston SA. The funny part about this story is that this person is from Lugano, the city where the 1900 SSZ was first delivered!
