The Autobau AG in Romanshorn, Switzerland is a private owned Company including Autobau Factory (Exclusive Car Workshop), Autobau Erlebniswelt (Museum), A small Race Track and multiple Event Locations. The Museum consists of a consistantly changing Lineup uf up to 120 cars, ranging from Classics to Race Cars and Hypercars. It is split up into 6 main Areas:
Classic Salon:
The Classic Saloon is a underground Hall, built in the Style of a Rock Museum. It shows a Impressive collection of some of the most beautiful Cars ever made, such as the Jaguar E-Type and many more.
Lista Racing Box:
Inside the Lista Racing Box, guests can experience the Racing Career of Freddy Lienhard, including a Showcase of all his Trophies.
Racing Halle:
The Racing Halle is all about professional motorsports. The Mix out of Rally, 24h, Cup and even Dragster Cars gets rounded off with Replicas of some of the most famous Racing Cars in history, such as the Porsche 917 Gulf Livery.
Stahltank:
The Stahltank is a 12 meter high, freestanding tower consistung of 3 showcased Areas. Guests can see 30 different Racing Cars, incuding a impressive 14 Formula 1 cars from Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault and Sauber.
Supersport Gallery:
Split in 2 etages, the Suoersports gallery displays a mixture of modern Super and Hypercars like a Porsche 918 and a Ferrari LaFerrari combined with classics such as a BMW M1 and Lamborghini Miura.
Clay Reggazoni Honor Room:
Located in a seperate Building, the Clay Reggazoni Honor Room tells the Story of the most successful Swiss Race Diver of all times. Born on the 14th of September 1947 in Herisau, Switzerland, Freddy Lienhard is a former Swiss Race Diver and entrepreneur until 2014, including Lista Office LO, IntetOffice and Denz. He had a passion for Cars since his early childhood. Many of the Cars he drove during his Career as a Race Driver are displayed in the Autobau Erlebniswelt alongside his Private Collection.
