About this model
Unveiled at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show, the Diablo SV Roadster was built to be a stripped down version of the VT Roadster commissioned by the newly acquired Volkswagen Group. The SV Roadster was intended to be positioned between the Diablo SV Coupe and Diablo VT in terms of price. Soon after its unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini's new parent company decided against putting the SV Roadster in production and thus only two factory SV Roadsters were produced.
