The first Supercar Fest: The Runway hit Sywell Aerodrome on 30 May 2021, marking the debut of what would become one of the UK’s most talked-about supercar gatherings. After years of anticipation and delays due to COVID-19, the one-day festival delivered exactly what enthusiasts had been craving: raw performance, eye-watering machinery, and a festival atmosphere to match.

Cars took centre stage on the aerodrome’s 1 km runway, launching in head-to-head runs that thrilled the crowds and turned heads throughout the day. Beyond the acceleration show, the event’s paddocks offered unrestricted access to supercars and their owners, with mingling, horsepower demonstrations, and motorsport displays keeping visitors engaged. Live music, food stalls, and even evening camping added a proper festival vibe to the day.
