About the Event
Mondial de l’Auto 2022 was the 89th edition of the Paris Motor Show and marked the event’s big return after the pandemic, held from 17 to 23 October 2022 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The show focused on innovation and future mobility, highlighting electric, hybrid, and hydrogen technologies, with new brands such as BYD, Ora, NamX and Microlino showcasing their latest models and concepts. Many concept cars were presented, including the Alpine Alpenglow hydrogen concept and several Renault prototypes (Renault 4ever Trophy, R5 E‑Tech, Scenic Vision), reflecting a shift toward more sustainable vehicles. The event also featured a large Exceptional Cars area with 16 rare Ferraris displayed to raise funds for the Perce Neige Foundation, adding a strong enthusiast and charity dimension. Overall, Mondial de l’Auto 2022 positioned itself as a showcase for the new automotive century, blending traditional combustion models with rapidly developing electric and hydrogen innovations
