FuoriConcorso 2025 - Velocissimo

About the Event

FuoriConcorso 2025 is shaping up to be an essential addition to the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este weekend, with a vibrant selection of attractions framed around Velocissimo a tribute to Italian automotive artistry, speed and style.

Spread over the Villas Sucota and del Grumello, FuoriConcorso  which takes place on May 24-25 promises three world premieres, as well as an appearance from an entirely new brand. It also features automotive partners such as Marc Philipp Gemballa, Koenigsegg, Vanwall, Mercedes-Benz, Pagani, Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Maserati and MV Agusta. There are many sights and sounds yet to be announced, with Porsche liberating no fewer than five cars from its museum but here’s what has been confirmed so far…

Alfa Romeo and Maserati will be taking over Villa Sucota, with the latter showing off an MCXtrema and an MC20 GT2 Stradale. Meanwhile, the Alfa Romeo Museum will be bringing the new 33 Stradale, a 33 TT 12 that won the 1975 World Championship for Makes, a 1965 TZ2 that saw victory at the Sebring 12 Hours, Targa Florio and Nürburgring 1000km, and a 1930 6C 1750.

Over at Villa del Grumello, Koenigsegg is set to reveal a surprise, while MV Agusta plans to reveal a new bike. Mercedes-Benz will be bringing along a C11, a CLK-GTR and a CLK-LM, and Pagani will be showing off its new Imola an 827hp, 1246kg tribute to the historic race circuit, which will be limited to five units.

One of the key features of FuoriConcorso 2025 is the starting grid, which last year was centred around British Formula 1 icons (pictured above). This year, the theme is Italian F1, with one of the key stars being a 1951 Alfa Romeo GP Tipo 159 Alfetta driven to the 1951 F1 championship by Juan Manuel Fangio. There’s also a Maserati 250F courtesy of the MAUTO museum in Turin, plus a 2006 ex-Michael Schumacher F248 and an ex-Gerhard Berger F1 87/88C from the Ferrari Museum. There will be plenty more surprises in store, too.

The Icons of Italy section will bring such delights as a Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P, a 1953 Lancia D24, an OSCA MT4 Carrera Panamericana, a Ferrari 250 GTO, a 1983 Lancia LC1 Martini, a 1958 Maserati 420M/58 Eldorado, a Ferrari 166MM Export ‘Uovo’, a Maserati MC12 GT1 and an ex-NART Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Group 4 racer. More will be revealed on the day.

FuoriConcorso 2025 will also play host to the Rally Pavilion, where you can savour an ex-Sandro Munari 1977 Monte Carlo-winning Lancia Stratos and a Delta S4 from the Gino Macaluso Foundation.

There will also be a Dylan Don art exhibition, as well as talks on collecting, investing, rallying and F1. In addition, there will be a 2003 Ferrari 550 GTC on display in collaboration with RM Sotheby’s, new watches from Breitling and Porsche Design, and plenty more from lifestyle brands such as Larusmiani, Deangelis Fine Watches, Innovacar and much more.
