About the Event

The Ennstal-Classic 2022 takes place from July 20st to 23rd and offers an abundance of joys and emotions that are becoming increasingly rare these days namely, driving in the last paradise! What began in 1993 as an idea to celebrate 'motorsport like in the old days' with just 30 participants quickly developed into one of Europe's most important classic rallies. Over the decades, legends such as Sir Stirling Moss, Niki Lauda, Derek Bell, David Coulthard, and Sebastian Vettel have shaped the reputation of this event and made it an icon of historic motorsport. The Ennstal-Classic combines top-level sporting challenges with the living culture of classic automobiles. Over three days of driving, participants cover more than 1,000 kilometers through the breathtaking scenery of the Alps. It is a journey that remains entirely analog: In a world full of digital tools, only mechanical watches and the pure feeling for the rhythm of the road reign supreme. From the fast corners of the Red Bull Ring to the steep bends of the Stoderzinken, every kilometer offers a unique experience, culminating in an emotional high point on the final day in Gröbming: When the racing engines of bygone days break the silence during the Demo Grand Prix, it gives thousands of spectators goosebumps and brings motorsport history back to life. The weekend is rounded off with excellent cuisine and extraordinary venues. When the engines are silent, the focus shifts to camaraderie, sharing stories with friends, and forging new connections. The grand finale is the 'Night of the Champions,' where the winners are celebrated and the rally comes to a brilliant close. The Ennstal-Classic is a celebration that uniquely combines historical heritage, spectacular landscapes, and lifestyle for drivers and fans alike.
