Information
The car which holds the record for the fastest speed ever recorded at the Circuit de La Sarthe, 407 km/h, during the 1988 edition. That speed record was lowered to 405 km/h, the legend claims that Peugeot requested that for the promotion of their brand new 405.
Two years later the two chicanes down the Mulsanne Straight were added to deter any similar speed record attempts.
Fitted with 3.0 Twin Turbo PRV V6 making 910hp.
