Information
During 2018 British Grand Prix FP3, Brendon Hartley had a front suspension failure. His car bumped on the gravel and pinned into the tyre barrier. Hartley was ok but the chassis was beyond reparation, which was noted in the accident report. Hartley missed qualifying as the team built up his car upon a spare chassis. This was Hartley's 4th big accident in 6 races, although most was not his fault.
Later the chassis was repaired and given to Honda as a showcar. It was repainted in 2020 AlphaTauri AT01 livery. Coincidentally the 2 STR13 chassis owned by Honda were both written off by Hartley during 2018 season.
