Campaigned in IMSA WSC by Dyson Racing from 1995 to 1997, by Matthews-Colucci Racing in 1998, by Hybrid Racing from 1999 to 2000 and by Bob Akin Motorsports in 2001. The most prominent achievement of it's career took place at the 1997 24 Hours of Daytona where it took first place overall - the first Ford Powered Daytona overall winner since the GT40 in 1966. Driven to this and many other victories by notable drivers John Paul Jr, Butch Leitzinger, James Weaver, Andy Wallace, Rob Dyson, Elliot Forbes-Robinson and John Schneider. Raced at Daytona a total of 6 times with multiple podiums as well as fantastic results all over the US. After spending almost twenty years in a museum, the car was completely restored by AJR Restorations where, over the course of almost a year, it was completely disassembled and rebuilt to better than new condition.
