This chassis had two massive accident with Derek Warwick.
The first one was at 1984 French Grand Prix, Warwick collided with Marc Surer, the Renault's suspension broke and penetrated the monocoque, and hurt Warwick's leg. Warwick concussed for a while and was trapped in the car, then rescued by marshals. The chassis was repaired and continued to race. Two races later at Detroit, Warwick crashed the car again during practice, and the suspension penetrated the monocoque again. This time the chassis was not repaired and was written off.
