In 2016 Chinese and Russian Grands Prix, Daniil Kvyat collided into Sebastian Vettel two races in a row. At Shanghai Kvyat shared podium with Vettel, but Vettel was extremely unhappy with the incident at the start and called Kvyat a 'torpedo', which later became a meme for reckless driving. The accident at Sochi led Kvyat to be demoted to Toro Rosso and replaced by Max Verstappen at Spanish GP. This was the start of the success of future world champion Verstappen, as well as Red Bull's driver swap tradition mid season, which caused them much trouble later.
