The second 956 purchased by Brun Motorsport, set to be used in the 1984 season.
Used multiple liveries in 1984 and 1985 including Swatch, Warsteiner, Eterna, Jägermeister and Schiesser
Winner of the 1000km of Imola
Totaled in an accident during the 1985 Spa 1000km, killing its driver Stefan Bellof.
Bellof touched Jacky Ickx’ Porsche 962 while attempting to pass him on the run towards Eau Rouge, leading to both cars spinning out of control with Bellofs 956 hitting the barrier head on and catching fire.
He sustained internal injuries and passed away on the scene of the crash and the 956 was scrapped.
