Information
Leaving the Zuffenhausen factory on March 7, 1969, this Porsche 911 S-T was one of six examples specially prepared by Porsche KG's competition department for the international season. Equipped with aluminum doors and a 2.0-liter Bosch mechanical fuel-injected engine, it began its career in factory colors by winning the 1969 Acropolis Rally with Pauli Toivonen at the wheel.
Sold in July 1969 to driver Jean-Claude Lagniez, who registered it for road use on August 2, it then embarked on a distinguished endurance racing career. Between 1970 and 1972, it passed successively into the hands of Pierre Mauroy, Francis Migault, and Fernand Tsaropoulos, competing three times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and participating in the Tour de France Automobile.
Having belonged to figures of French motorsport such as Raymond Touroul, Marcel Balsa or Gilles Bochand, it benefited from a complete restoration to 'S-T' specifications between 2009 and 2012. It is presented here in its 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans livery, testifying to its historical versatility between world rally and legendary circuits.
Since 2015, the car has not been seen in public.
