Original MC12 GT1 chassis 16 / No. 5/12 crashed in accident.
After an accident car got a rebuilt at factory as MC12 GT1 Mk.2 with new chassis and got a new VIN - ZAMDF44B000025288.
Original chassis got back to Maserati - it was used it for a demo car without function, later Maserati sold it to a customer titeled WITHOUT FUNCTION .
Raced in 2005 and 2006 at Italian GT-Championship for Teams Megadrive Srl and Racing Box.
