Originally built as chassis number AM103.048 in gold metallic and served as a marque demonstration and show car. Car returned to the factory in the fall of 1963 and was refurbished by Maserati and then resold as a new car, now with its current chassis number which originally comes from a totaled 5000 GT. First of 3 Frua bodied 5000 GTs.
