3-time race winner: 1967 Dutch Grand Prix, 1967 British Grand Prix, 1967 United States Grand Prix.
The victory at 1967 Dutch Grand Prix represented the first Grand Prix victory for Lotus 49 and the first of 155 for the legendary Cosworth DFV engine. (both on debut)
Originally built as '49-R2' chassis for 1967-1968 seasons, rebuilt to 49B specification and renumbered to '49B-R11'
Restored back to '49-R2' chassis number and specification by Classic Team Lotus in 2009.
