Information
Destroyed at a private test at Silverstone in 1994 with Pedro Lamy. The rear wing suddenly came off and the car lost control at 170mph, hit the barrier, took off and flew over the fence, eventually landed in a tunnel under the track with the rear end on fire. His teammate Johnny Herbert, who was following Lamy, almost thought he was killed. Herbert helped the marshals to find Lamy and rescued him. Luckily, Lamy was still alive, with both knees and a leg broken. He rested for more than a year before returning to F1.
The tub was totally destroyed, the front end was even cut off. Later the tub was sold and repaired into a showcar.
