Information
Prepared as part of a trio of works cars for the 1953 24 Heures du Mans, featuring Dunlop disc brakes, Weber carburettors and a thinner-gauge aluminium body. It subsequently finished 1st overall in the race.
Displayed at the 1953 Earls Court Motor Show.
Repainted Flag Blue upon its sale to Ecurie Ecosse in 1954.
Later repainted white.
Rebodied during restoration with a new 14-16 s.w.g. body. The original was retained but not used due to its poor condition.
