Information
Although chassis 308C/2 was built late in 1975, it was not raced until the spring of 1976 when it had become FW05/2. It was predominantly raced by Michel Leclere, who never finished within the top ten. Mario Andretti drove the car to 7th in a non-championship race at Silverstone. Another noted driver to sample the car was Chris Amon a crash in practice prevented him from starting in the Canadian Grand Prix. Chassis 308C/2 / FW05/2 was retired at the end of the season and was eventually restored to its Hesketh specification
