Information
First raced by the Gordini works team in the Buenos Aires 1000 km race. It was subsequently sold to Italian Franco Bordoni, who also raced the sister works car in select events. In 1954, he fielded the car in the Mille Miglia but failed to reach the finish due to accident damage. Later in the year, he did win the Trullo d'Oro and the Pergusa Grand Prix. The car made its final contemporary appearance in the 1955 Targa Florio. It was soon acquired by the Schlumpf brothers, who, over the years, gathered over half of all the surviving Gordinis in the world
Classified as a 'Monument Historique' since the 14th of April 1978.
