Information
Original chassis P/1009 was crashed at 1968 Kyalami 9 Hours and was sent to Ford Advanced Vehicles (FAV) for repair, but instead of rebuilding the wrecked chassis the owner decided to have a new car build with a new chassis provided by John Wyer Automotive (JWA).
New chassis was sent to Alann Mann who reconstructed it to the most lightweight specifications.
Later the original wrecked chassis was sold and rebuilt by Brian Wingfield.
Both cars still exist.
