Information
During the test drive of the 1966 Le Mans, this car suffered from a severe accidence and later was sent back to FAV.
FAV salvaged some useful parts (suspension, steering rack, gearbox, wheels, gauges, radiator etc.) and then William McKelvy employed a local farm to bury the chassis under the groud in Pittsburgh.
After that, FAV simultaneously announced the chassis has been scrapped.
Later rebuilt using original engine and gearbox with a original repaired GT40 tub.
