Information
Driven by Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill to an overall victory in the 1958 24 hours of Le Mans
The only Testa Rossa with a four spoked steering wheel, Phil Hills preferenceThe second of three 250 TR58s built in 1958. It scored only one major victory, but it was the one that counted; the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the hands of Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien. Part of Pierre Bardinon's vast Mas du Clos collection, it is seen here on a very rare public appearance at the 2006 Goodwood Revival where Phil Hill's career was celebrated. It was driven around the track several times, but all of us present will remember the Sunday demo in particular when the legendary driver took his Le Mans winning car for a drive himself.
