Successful Australian race history (inc. Bathurst, Surfers Paradise 12hr)
Originally campaigned by David McKay's Sydney based race team 'Scuderia Veloce'
Originally delivered Rosso Toreador over Panno Nero
Piloted by a young Jackie Stewart for the 1966 Surfers Paradise 12hr race (1st place result)
A complete overhaul was undertaken by David Little in 1968
During a demonstration lap celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Australian Grand Prix at Sandown race circuit, a dry sump hose failed with oil going onto the rear tyres, causing previous owner David McKay to crash underneath the Dunlop Bridge.
Complete restoration undertaken by Graham Watson Prestige Cars Repairs in 1978
